- SAT
  Logic-based college-entrance exam created by the College Board. High scores can gain students college admittance and scholarship money. Strategies used to achieve high scores on the SAT can be learned. The SAT has 4 sections: 1. Reading, 2. Writing and Language, 3. Math and 4. Optional Analytical Essay.
- PSAT
  Logic-based college-entrance exam created by the College Board that is part of the National Merit Scholarship Program. The PSAT is NOT a practice test, but a preliminary SAT test which matters in the student's junior year. A high PSAT score can qualify students to become National Merit Scholars, earning them college entrance and scholarships...even grad school money!
- ACT
  Logic-based college entrance exam. High scores can can gain students college admittance and scholarship money. Strategies used to achieve high scores on the ACT can be learned. The ACT has has 5 sections: 1. Reading, 2. Writing, 3. Math, 4. Science and 5. Persuasive Essay.
- CLT
  The only college entrance exam proctored remotely, on student devices. Like the SAT, PSAT, ACT, the CLT is logic based test. College Prep Genius is the official test prep company of the CLT. The CLT has 4 sections: 1. Reading, 2. Writing, 3. Math and 4. Literary Response Essay.

How do I use school funds to pay for my class?

If your charter school or school has a program which allows you to use school funds to pay for your class, just contact the proper administrator at your school in order to get them to submit a purchase order to College Prep Genius. The purchase order must include the following:

• Parent First and Last Name

• Parent Email

• Phone

• Student First and Last Name (all students who intend to take the class)

• Mailing Address

• Class student would like to attend

Please send information to info@collegeprepgenius.com, or call 817-282-7737 with any questions. A purchase order must be submitted prior to student registration.

What is the difference between the College Prep Genius virtual class and eCourse?

The College Prep Genius virtual course is a live course. Students will attend class at a designated date and time, where they will be able to interact with one of College Prep Genius's Certified Instructors. Students will be able to ask questions and participate in this virtual classroom environment. Following the live course, each student will receive 1-year membership access to the College Prep Genius eCourse lessons.

The College Prep Genius eCourse is a self-paced course taught through video lessons. The course includes 300+ interactive questions that help to reinforce what was learned. No live instruction is included.

Does this program work on other tests like the ACT or CLT?

Tests like the ACT and CLT are reasoning tests, just like the SAT. So College Prep Genius strategies work. College Prep Genius is the official test prep company of the CLT. Does the virtual boot camp come with everything needed for the course?

The limited time Summer 2020 Offer includes the 2020 College Prep Genius Textbook and College Prep Genius Workbook hard copies. Following the live class, students will have access to the eCourse which will include the SAT Essay Templates eReader, Daily Homework Guide PDF, and Journal For Success PDF.

What happens if my student misses a class date? Can my student attend a different make up class?

All class sessions are recorded should a student miss one of their live sessions. Recordings will be available to the students after the last day of their live class and are available for the life of their membership.* Class transfers can be arranged prior to the first day of the student's scheduled class.

*Memberships are available for 1 year and can be renewed for $49 if renewed within 30 days of expiration.

Do you offer refunds?

College Prep Genius does not offer refunds on any live classes. College Prep Genius will refund eCourse purchases within 30 days of purchase.

What will happen in the event of technical issues?

While we try to do everything in our power to prevent technical issues, sometimes these things can not be helped. Should your student experience a technical issue that does not originate on the College Prep Genius side, College Prep Genius will provide a previously recorded session for the student to watch.

Parents and students can always contact support@collegeprepgenius.com with support issues prior to their first live class session for technical help. We also provide a link to Adobe Connect support for help with the live classroom environment.
