The “P” in PSAT stands for “practice” so don't waste your time on it.   The “P” stand for “Preliminary” and this is a scholarship contest that counts in the junior year.  The perks of a high PSAT score can include everything from a full-ride to grad school money, spending cash, study-abroad stipends and more.

Here's an example.

Because the PSAT/NMSQT is generally administered in the third week of October, students have nearly four months to prepare.  Treat this like a part-time job and it could yield in hundreds of thousands of scholarships offers from numerous colleges.  Learn the recurring patterns and logical test-taking techniques and you can ace this test.
