Choosing the right tesT
All three tests are logic-based tests designed to measure critical thinking, problem-solving, and reasoning skills under time pressure.
Standardized tests contain standardized questions followed by standardized answers. All tests encompass recurring patterns, objective questions that can be misleading and tricky answer choices meant to test a student’s ability to analyze and think critically. The SAT and ACT are both offered 7 times a year and every college accepts either one.

Trying all three tests is an excellent strategy since many colleges “super score,” combining the highest section scores from multiple attempts. There are free practice exams on each respective test website. By identifying the right test, your student can maximize their scores and unlock more scholarships, bringing them closer to a debt-free college experience.
The CLT partnered with CPG in 2017 and our CLT course was created from an actual test they ONLY gave us.
