INCLUDED IN THE 8-WEEK VIRTUAL CLASS:
College Prep Genius 8-Week Class Syllabus
The award-winning College Prep Genius live virtual boot camp teaches students shortcuts, test-taking techniques and strategies on how to ace the digital ST and PSAT. This interactive class is 8 weeks, 1 ½ hours long, and taught by a certified, professional instructor. The class is designed for accountability so students can reinforce what was learned in class during the daily homework. This helps students solidify the information so they can apply it appropriately.
Reading: There are five types of passages and fourteen sub-categories of questions. Students will learn to reorder the passages and skip reading up to 75% of them. They will discover that the text is misleading with tricky answer choices.
Writing and Language: This section is combined with the Reading part and contains passages with either grammar or punctuation problems. Students will learn the unwritten English rules that are used exclusively on the SAT and PSAT.
Math: This is a logic test using math as the medium. No math genius is needed to learn the shortcuts to each question. Students can learn to approach problems carefully with a critical eye and answer them in 30 seconds or less.
Essay: The essay has been mostly omitted but since there are some schools and states that still require it, we have a bonus section to cover how to write a high-scoring paper. It is complete with 30 proven templates to craft an analytical response in a short amount of time.
